Minimum Qualifications Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program. Active Tennessee PTA license is required to start the assignment. Current BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required. Experience working in an inpatient hospital or acute rehabilitation setting preferred. Demonstrated competency in therapeutic exercise, gait training, transfers, and use of standard rehab equipment such as Hoyer lifts and gait belts preferred. Ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary team and follow PT plan of care.
