Physical Therapist

The ideal candidate has a positive attitude, excellent interpersonal skills, and a current state PT license. You will provide medical support to patients while ensuring excellent customer service. Responsibilities Provide physical therapy services according to a physician's plan of care, including assessment, treatment, and patient education. Evaluate patients' therapeutic, rehabilitative, and functional status, and participate in developing the care plan. Assess muscle strength, mobility, gait, and range of motion to determine rehab potential. Direct physical therapy treatments and instruct patients and caregivers on the use of therapeutic devices. Report patient progress and reactions to physicians and participate in case conferences. Train patients in prosthetic device use if applicable. Identify additional home health needs and refer patients to appropriate services. Prepare and submit clinical and progress summaries, participate in discharge planning, and provide consultation and education as needed. Supervise physical therapy assistants and, when applicable, home health aides. Qualifications Degree from an accredited physical therapy program. State licensure as a physical therapist. Minimum of two years' experience, preferably in community or home health settings. Strong communication and organizational skills. Current CPR certification.
