Key Responsibilities\nAs a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Congruent Psychiatric Services, your daily tasks will encompass:

- Facilitating therapy sessions for individuals, couples, and families, utilizing evidence-based techniques and a variety of therapeutic modalities. \n
- Providing support for issues such as grief and loss, relationship conflicts, adjustment to separation and divorce, blended family dynamics, and job-related stress. \n
- Collaborating with external specialists when necessary to ensure comprehensive care for your clients, including referral to additional healthcare services. \n
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies. \n
- Participating in regular virtual team meetings to discuss patient progress, share insights, and refine therapeutic practices. \n
Your focus will include working with diverse populations, addressing a range of mental health issues. You will support individuals facing substance abuse challenges, conflicts among family members, and the emotional complexities surrounding divorce and remarriage. The goal is to empower clients with practical coping strategies, improving their mental health and overall quality of life.
Qualifications\nThe ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

- A valid and active state license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). \n
- A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field. \n
- Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development and compliance with ethical standards in counseling. \n
While not required, candidates with experience in the following areas will be highly considered:

- Experience dealing with family dynamics, including but not limited to blended families. \n
