Restaurant General Manager

Restaurant General Manager Team leads the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring compliance with company standards across all functional areas, including product preparation and delivery, guest relations, maintenance, inventory, recruitment, financial accountability, and safety. The role drives profitability, quality, and guest satisfaction, while fostering a positive, safe work environment. Key Responsibilities Create value for shareholders through efficient operations, cost controls, and profit management. Maintain highest level of quality, service, cleanliness and hospitality by actively engaging guests during peak hours and ensuring menu availability. Lead guest service and relations, monitor and correct employee appearance, courtesy, and suggestive selling techniques; support marketing efforts. Control daily operations by tracking labor and product costs, ordering supplies, managing inventory and waste, and scheduling staff. Recruit, train, motivate, and evaluate hourly employees, and drive recruiting and retention of hourly managers and team members. Execute preventive maintenance program, including minor repairs of equipment, building, and grounds. Prepare required reports, use projection, cash control, and security techniques. Recruit, interview, recommend hiring, discipline, and terminate employees; maintain personnel files and performance information. Ensure compliance with OSHA, local health and safety codes, and company safety and security policy. Qualifications Dedication to exceptional guest service. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with conflict resolution ability. Exceptional team‑building capability. Basic business math, accounting, and analytical/decision‑making skills. Basic computer literacy. High school diploma or GED preferred; college or university degree preferred. 1‑4 years supervisory experience in a food or retail environment, including profit and loss responsibility. Other Requirements Follows procedures for restaurant equipment operation. The job requires lifting up to 25lbs., pushing/pulling up to 90lbs., and carrying loads up to 30ft. distance.
