Physical Therapy Assistant - Travel Contract

Make a real difference as a travel Physical Therapist Assistant in Wichita Falls, TX. You will work with patients in a skilled nursing facility recovering from injury or illness, helping them improve mobility, independence, and quality of life under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.Apply and a recruiter will follow up with details. Minimum Qualifications Associate degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from an accredited educational program. Active Texas PTA license required to start the assignment. BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA or ARC required or must obtain prior to start. Experience working in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting preferred. Demonstrated ability to perform therapeutic exercise, transfers, gait training, and safe patient handling. Familiarity with documentation in electronic medical records preferred. Client requires reliable clinical references and demonstrated competency in geriatric rehabilitation preferred. Assignment Details Facility type: Skilled Nursing Facility.
