Great potential to hire opportunity for someone with forklift experience looking for steady daytime hours.Material Handler Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:Load, unload, move, and store materials throughout the facilityHandle recyclable, hazardous, and non-hazardous waste according to proceduresOperate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipmentLabel, sort, stage, and organize materials in designated areasMaintain accurate inventory records and documentationFollow all safety procedures and PPE requirementsCommunicate with team members and supervisors to keep materials moving efficientlyMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work areaWork around liquid consumer products and materials that may be messy or require cleanupMaterial Handler Requirements:- High school diploma or GED preferred- Previous forklift experience required- Previous warehouse or material-handling experience preferred- Forklift certification preferred; company can provide certification/training- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds throughout the shift- Comfortable performing physical work and being on your feet for the majority of the shift- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment that may be messy at times- Strong attention to detail and safety- Ability to work independently and as part of a teamQPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
