Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN): Days (12-hour shifts)

This opportunity is full-time, offers full benefits, and a convenient dayshift (6:30am-7:00pm) schedule and rotates every other weekend and holiday. Part-Time and PRN available: some benefits and sign-on bonus are excluded! There is opportunity for overtime and to cover various shifts if interested. This position also qualifies for our $5,000 sign-on bonus!

Roxbury Treatment Center, a subsidiary of Universal Health Services, Inc., has been a beacon of hope and healing for over 35 years, serving those struggling with behavioral health and substance use issues. Located in Shippensburg, PA, our 112-bed behavioral health facility offers acute psychiatric, detoxification, and rehabilitation services for adults as well as an adolescent inpatient psychiatric program for youth ages 13-17. We also have two substance use disorder outpatient offices in Carlisle and Chambersburg. The Licensed Practical Nurse provides professional nursing care on a designated unit in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of Roxbury Treatment Center. The Licensed Practical Nurse is accountable for assigned nursing care activities on a shift basis and is responsible for promoting and enhancing professional nursing practice on the unit under the direction of the Nurse Manager or DON. Monitors and documents patient condition and interventions provided reporting findings to the unit Charge Nurse/RN. Monitors nursing and clinical care plans and participates in treatment team meetings as necessary. Provides supportive counseling and patient education. The Licensed Practical Nurse facilitates medication administration activities in accordance with safe medication practices, including patient education. The Licensed Practical Nurse responds to all crisis/emergency events to direct staff and ensure patient safety.

Qualifications LPN Job Requirements: graduate of an accredited licensed practical nursing program, one year prior experience in D&A and/or mental health nursing preferred but not required, licensure and registration by the Pennsylvania Board of Nurse Examiners as a licensed practical nurse.
