As a Registered Nurse Float Pool at MedStar Health, you will provide comprehensive, patient-first care across multiple hospital units within our regional health system. You’ll assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for diverse patient populations, administering medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with evidence-based standards. In this flexible role, you will float to various units based on staffing and patient acuity, collaborating closely with physicians and interprofessional teams to coordinate safe, high-quality care. You will document in the electronic health record, support patient and family education, and participate in quality and safety initiatives.
