Job Summary
The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse position is located in Odessa, Texas. This role involves providing specialized care to neonatal patients utilizing evidence-based nursing practices. The nurse will be responsible for supporting safe delivery of care in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating critical thinking, clinical judgment, and leadership skills to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details

• Shift: Nights, with shift hours totaling 12 hours per shift
• Schedule: Nights, 36 hours per week minimum
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license; minimum of 2 years of relevant experience including prior travel experience; certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP); location in the United States; ability to work night shifts
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit; certification in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Electronic Fetal Heart Monitoring (EFM) preferred
• Additional Information: Candidates must have prior travel experience and meet the experience requirements outlined. All travel submissions require at least 2 years of relevant experience. This position requires working night shifts with responsibilities for delivering high-quality neonatal care, supervising staff, and ensuring compliance with hospital policies and state Nurse Practice Act. All candidates must adhere to facility-specific policies and demonstrate clinical competence through continuing education.
