Schedule Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 4:00 pm

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, repairs, and inspections on heavy construction rental equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation.
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues and complete necessary repairs or adjustments in a timely manner.
• Conduct preventative maintenance to reduce equipment downtime and extend service life.
• Inspect, service, and prepare equipment for rental, ensuring all units meet safety and operational standards.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of all inspections, maintenance, and repairs performed.
• Prioritize and manage equipment breakdowns to ensure timely resolution and minimal impact on operations.
• Coordinate with rental staff to ensure equipment is properly staged, prepared, and ready for customer use.
• Order, track, and manage parts and supplies to support efficient maintenance and repair operations.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and service requests as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with company policies and OSHA regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of experience working with heavy construction equipment or in a rental environment.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulics, diesel engines, and electrical systems.
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and technical issues.
• Experience working on equipment such as excavators, loaders, skid steers, or similar machinery.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and perform physically demanding work.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• High School diploma or GED required.
