We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and patient individual to provide part-time support for young people in a safe, nurturing environment. In this role, you will help promote daily well-being, encourage positive routines, and contribute to a supportive atmosphere where each child or adolescent feels respected, understood, and cared for.

• Provide attentive supervision and age-appropriate support to young people during scheduled shifts.
• Assist with daily routines, including meals, hygiene, transitions, and recreational activities.
• Offer emotional support and guidance while maintaining professional boundaries.
• Help create a calm, structured, and positive environment.
• Support behavior management using approved practices and de-escalation techniques when needed.
• Communicate observations, concerns, and updates clearly to team members and supervisors.
• Document relevant activities, incidents, and progress according to organizational procedures.
• Collaborate with coworkers and other professionals to support individual needs and goals.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and organization in shared spaces.
• Follow all policies, procedures, and safeguarding requirements.

• Experience working with children, youth, or families in a caregiving, support, or related role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm, patient, and supportive in a variety of situations.
• Dependable, responsible, and able to follow guidance and procedures.
• Comfort working as part of a team in a structured environment.
• Basic organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries.
• Willingness to complete required training and compliance checks as needed.

• Genuine interest in supporting the growth and well-being of young people.
• Ability to build trust through consistency, empathy, and respect.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing needs and schedules.
• Experience with trauma-informed or strengths-based approaches is a plus.
