Position: Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) Medical/Surgical Instructor (9-month position)

Location: Athens/Walton Campus

Department: Division of Life Sciences & Public Safety

Reports to: Program Chair for Associate of Science in Nursing and Divisional Academic Dean

Salary/Benefits: Salary is commensurate with education and experience. State of Georgia benefits package.

Responsibilities:

• Teach in simulation and laboratory settings.
• Clinical and classroom instruction.
• Curriculum implementation and evaluation.
• Work with regulators to maintain full accreditation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Master of Science in Nursing with experience in nursing education.
• Current and valid Georgia Registered Professional Nursing License.
• Current BLS certification for healthcare providers.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Two (2) years teaching experience and clinical practice in the field of nursing.
• Experience with simulation and technology.
