Manufacturing-Heavy Equipment Assembler Are you looking to join a company where you'll work with new, top of the line heavy equipment? Keen, a Wallenius Wilhelmsen company, is seeking Manufacturing-Heavy Equipment Assembler at our equipment processing center in Brunswick, GA. Starting pay is $23.00 per hour, depending on experience. WHAT YOU'LL DO: Complete assembly of partially built heavy equipment using hand, electric, and air-powered tools Unpackage, install, and remove machine parts Drive and operate equipment including backing up, tilting or raising or lowering attachments or other machine movements to facilitate proper assembly Be able to work outside in all reasonable weather condition Read and interpret machine manuals and schematics for assembly purposes Adhere to OSHA standards and company safety regulations WHAT YOU'LL NEED Ability to operate various types of heavy equipment, forklifts, overhead cranes Ability to read and interpret machine manuals and schematics Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems for construction and agricultural equipment Sufficient hand dexterity and strength to operate a sledgehammer, power tools and withstand vibration of tools Ability to lift overhead 50 lbs and climb to/work at heights of up to 15 feet Ability to complete a full workday walking and/or standing in all reasonable weather conditions Current valid driver’s license WHEN YOU JOIN US Choose from a range of low-cost health insurance options to support your well-being including medical, dental and vision after 30 days of employment Secure your financial future with an industry-leading company-matching 401(k) plan Company paid life insurance, short-term and long-term disability Explore career development with access to on-the-job training Access to exclusive discounts on attractions, automotive, travel and more!
