Scheduling appointments; Pre-certifications/authorizations; Telephone calls; Interaction with ancillary services; Routine clerical functions; Documentation in electronic medical records; Cleaning, monitoring, and stocking exam rooms. Rooming patients, Obtaining vitals and histories, Assisting Physician/Provider with examinations and in-office duties. As expected with all healthcare positions, must adhere to HIPAA/OSHA/BLOODBORNE PATHOGEN regulations and maintain associated workplace trainings. Other duties as assigned/necessary.

Preferred Technical/other training or better.

Experience

Required Must be Registered or Certified Clinical Medical Assistant; Previous medical office experience preferred; Proficient with Electronic Medical Records (EMR); Ability to multi-task in very fast environment; Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with high focus on quality patient care.
