Responsibilities:

Manage quality control for automotive accessory parts (illumination components, plastic molded parts, sewn products, etc.)
Monitor and improve supplier production quality and manufacturing processes
Proactively identify potential quality risks and implement preventive measures
Investigate quality issues, perform root cause analysis (e.g., 5 Whys), and drive corrective actions
Prepare and submit problem-solving and corrective action reports (e.g., 8D) to internal teams and customers
Serve as the primary point of contact for OEM customers on quality issues, coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution of product defects
Collaborate closely with internal teams and external suppliers to drive effective resolution of quality concerns
Support PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) documentation and related quality requirements as needed

Qualifications:

Minimum 4 years of quality experience in the automotive industry or plastic injection molding manufacturing
Strong communication skills with customers and internal teams
Experience in coordinating with and responding to customers or clients.
Understanding of problem-solving methodologies (5Why, 8D report, etc.)
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word)
Detail-oriented with a strong sense of accuracy and accountability
Team-oriented and comfortable handling detailed tasksFamiliarity with the Japanese language is a plus, but not required

Work Environment:

Full-time position, 5 days per week, fully onsite
