Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
Job Summary
Independence Title is seeking a detail-oriented Escrow Assistant to support the Escrow Officer with residential real estate transactions. This temporary position requires excellent organizational skills, customer service, and the ability to manage multiple files in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Open and maintain escrow files.
- Prepare and organize closing documents.
- Coordinate with buyers, sellers, lenders, agents, and vendors.
- Order payoffs, surveys, HOA documents, and other required items.
- Assist with clearing title requirements and curative issues.
- Schedule closings and communicate updates to all parties.
- Ensure accurate file documentation and compliance with company procedures.
- Perform post-closing tasks, including document recording and file disbursement.
- Provide administrative support to the Escrow Officer as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous escrow, title, mortgage, or real estate experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office; experience with title software is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
- Professional, dependable, and customer-focused.
- Experience with RamQuest strongly preferred.
