WARRANTY AUDITOR – FIELD BASED (AUTOMOTIVE DEALERSHIPS)

Pay Rate: $48.28/hour

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking experienced Warranty Auditors with direct automotive warranty auditing experience to conduct on-site audits at dealerships throughout an assigned region. This is a highly travel-focused position requiring extensive field work and regular interaction with dealership personnel.

Important: Candidates must possess direct warranty audit experience. Incentive audit experience alone does not meet the requirements for this role.

TRAVEL & WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Approximately 80% or more travel required.
• Fully field-based position with no corporate office assignment.
• Auditors typically work at a different dealership each week.
• Travel is generally within a six-hour driving radius of the employee's residence.
• Air travel provided when destinations exceed practical driving distance.
• Hotel accommodations provided for assignments located more than 1.5 hours from home.
• All travel-related expenses are covered.
• Company vehicle provided.

TYPICAL WEEKLY SCHEDULE

Monday

• Travel to dealership location.
• Conduct audit kickoff and setup activities.

Tuesday – Thursday

• Perform on-site warranty audits.
• Review dealership warranty documentation and processes.
• Flexible daily start times depending on dealership operations.

Thursday Afternoon or Friday

• Return travel home.

Friday / End of Week

• Work remotely from home.
• Complete audit reports and close completed audits.
• Submit expense reports.
• Prepare for upcoming assignments.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct comprehensive warranty audits at automotive dealerships.
• Review warranty claims, documentation, repair orders, and supporting records.
• Ensure compliance with manufacturer warranty policies and procedures.
• Identify discrepancies, inaccuracies, and potential compliance concerns.
• Prepare detailed audit findings and supporting documentation.
• Communicate audit results professionally with dealership personnel and management.
• Maintain accurate records and complete administrative reporting requirements.
• Travel extensively throughout the assigned territory.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Direct automotive warranty auditing experience.
• Strong knowledge of dealership warranty processes and procedures.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively throughout assigned region.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel regularly.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

Candidates should be proficient with:

• Microsoft Excel
• Microsoft Outlook
• Microsoft Teams
• Microsoft Office 365
• Laptop-based reporting and documentation systems

INTERVIEW PROCESS

• Round 1: Interview with Brad Darrow
• Round 2: Interview with Ryan (Hiring Manager)
• All interviews conducted via Microsoft Teams
