Digital Marketing Manager Location: Camp Johnson, Colchester, VT Reports To: Program Manager / State Family Program Director Position Type: Full-Time Position Summary The Digital Marketing Manager serves as the lead communications and media professional for the Vermont Work for Warriors Program. This position is responsible for developing and executing digital marketing strategies, creating multimedia content, managing social media platforms, supporting employment outreach initiatives, and increasing awareness of Work for Warriors services among Vermont National Guard members, veterans, reservists, service members, families, employers, and community stakeholders. Digital Marketing & Communications Develop, implement, and maintain digital marketing strategies that support employment outreach objectives. Create engaging content across social media, websites, newsletters, podcasts, videos, and print collateral. Manage and maintain the Work for Warriors website and related digital platforms. Ensure website compliance with accessibility standards and government branding requirements. Monitor digital engagement metrics and optimize content performance. Content Development & Multimedia Production Design and produce marketing materials, brochures, flyers, infographics, newsletters, and promotional content. Create and edit professional videos, podcasts, interviews, and digital storytelling content. Develop employment-focused content that assists clients with job search readiness, including: Video resumes Digital portfolios Professional social media profiles Resume and cover letter resources Digital literacy tools Social Media Management Manage social media presence across multiple platforms. Create and publish content calendars and campaign schedules. Monitor audience engagement and community interactions. Analyze social media performance and prepare reports on reach, engagement, and return on investment. Public Relations & Outreach Support Write press releases, success stories, and promotional materials. Support statewide outreach events, career fairs, and community engagement activities. Collaborate with military, employer, and community partners to increase program visibility. Promote employment opportunities, employer partnerships, and workforce initiatives. Analytics & Reporting Track and analyze website traffic, social media performance, and campaign effectiveness. Generate reports identifying trends, audience behavior, and program impact. Provide recommendations to improve communication strategies and outreach effectiveness. Maintain documentation and records supporting marketing performance metrics. Minimum Qualifications Education Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Graphic Design, Public Relations, or a related field. Experience Minimum of three (3) years of professional experience in digital marketing, communications, content creation, or multimedia production. Experience managing social media campaigns and digital communications strategies. Experience creating multimedia content for multiple communication channels. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or comparable design platforms. Advanced video editing and audio production skills. Experience with website content management systems (CMS). Knowledge of SEO, social media analytics, and digital marketing best practices. Strong graphic design, copywriting, and storytelling abilities. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting military, veteran, workforce development, or nonprofit organizations. Knowledge of employment marketing and workforce outreach strategies. Familiarity with podcast production, digital advertising, and public affairs communications. Experience measuring and reporting digital marketing ROI. Travel Requirements Occasional statewide travel to outreach events, career fairs, community meetings, and military-related functions.
