Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:30 - 15:00 Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum 2 years in an acute care facility License: Compact RN, Arizona RN Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS preferred (can obtain PALS on-site) Must-Have: General, Endo, Ortho, OB, GYN experience Description: We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of two years of experience in an acute care facility. Responsibilities include working in a state-of-the-art operating room equipped with advanced laparoscopic and endoscopic equipment, processors, and monitors. You will be part of a team that ensures quality patient care and safety. The patient population consists of 70% adults, 28% geriatrics, and 2% pediatrics. The position involves providing care for both scheduled and emergency procedures. Successful candidates must be able to float to the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) as needed. Housing and maintaining patient safety and comfort are paramount. All admitted patients are provided with private rooms and individual restrooms. The dress code includes provided scrubs, and professional standards must be maintained regarding attire and personal appearance.
