Manager, Global Medical Information

AbbVie seeks a Manager of Global Medical Information to develop and deliver accurate, evidence-based medical content for assigned therapeutic areas. The role involves managing inquiries from healthcare professionals and consumers, creating regulatory-compliant response documents, and collaborating across functions to support business needs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain global medical information content and response documents for product and disease state inquiries
• Respond to unsolicited inquiries from healthcare professionals and consumers with accurate, unbiased information
• Critically evaluate scientific literature, clinical data, and guidelines; ensure regulatory compliance
• Partner with cross-functional teams to support reimbursement communications and identify medical information gaps
• Represent AbbVie at scientific conferences and deliver medical information through innovative channels

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing, PA, Pharmacy, PhD in Health Sciences, or MD/DO
• 2+ years pharmaceutical industry experience or 4+ years healthcare experience
• Substantial understanding of assigned therapeutic area(s)
• Strong clinical knowledge, medical writing skills, and regulatory/legal awareness
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, and medical information systems
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with cross-functional leadership ability
• Drug Information residency preferred; advanced degree preferred
