Job Opportunity – Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Registered Nurse – Ohio

Start Date: November 13, 2026

Location: Cleveland, Ohio

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Day/Night rotating shifts: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM / 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM. Shifts may vary based on operational needs. Must work at least every other holiday.

Highlights:

• Specialized pediatric intensive care environment serving patients up to 25 years of age
• Exposure to epilepsy monitoring and advanced PICU specialties
• Utilization of ECG rhythm recognition, inotropes, and critical care protocols
• Comprehensive orientation including safeMedicate and ECG rhythm assessment training
• Extension opportunities available for up to 18 months
• Pre-start clinical modules provided with billable orientation time

Requirements:

• Active Ohio RN license or Compact State license (must be in hand prior to submission)
• Minimum 12 months of permanent PICU experience required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA or American Red Cross)
• NIHSS certification preferred
• Proficiency in ECG interpretation and administration of inotropes
• One professional reference from a manager, supervisor, or director from within the past 12 months
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation
• Background clearance with no open cases; no license infractions accepted
• BCI/FBI fingerprinting must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing
