Professional Engineer - Geotech and Materials Testing 6805918 Date Posted: 05-19-2026 Job Details Experience: Senior Level Salary: $150,000 - $210,000 per year Primary Responsibilities Perform and manage engineering tasks including technical analysis, evaluations, field investigations, design reviews, and reporting. Manage and oversee Construction Materials Testing/Special Inspections projects for both private and public sector clients. Oversee project execution, ensuring quality, accuracy, and adherence to schedules and standards. Provide mentorship, training, and technical guidance to junior engineers and field staff. Collaborate with internal teams across disciplines to support multi‑discipline project delivery. Prepare and review proposals, engineering reports, and technical documentation. Support business development by maintaining client relationships and identifying new opportunities. Participate in jobsite visits, construction support tasks, and coordination with contractors and clients. Required Attributes B.S. in Civil Engineering or related engineering degree. Professional Engineering License or the ability to obtain a Professional Engineer License within 6 months of start date. Valid driver’s license and reliable means of transportation. Technical background and experience with various geotechnical topics such as shallow/deep foundation systems, retaining walls, infiltration testing, compaction control, and soil classification. Experience with construction inspections related to concrete, reinforced concrete, soil compaction, shallow/deep foundation systems, and asphalt pavement. Ability to mentor junior staff.
