The Senior HVAC Technician is a lead role responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of residential, commercial, and industrial HVAC systems. This position requires a highly skilled professional with over five years of experience who ensures safety compliance and quality service while regularly traveling between sites. The technician will utilize specialized diagnostic tools and collaborate with team members to maintain optimal system performance and customer satisfaction.

 

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair residential, commercial, and industrial HVAC systems
• Troubleshoot and diagnose system faults using specialized diagnostic tools
• Perform equipment testing and preventive maintenance
• Replace parts and ensure all repairs meet safety standards
• Document all maintenance and repair activities accurately
• Collaborate with team members and lead technical efforts on-site
• Interact effectively with customers to provide excellent service
• Travel regularly between job sites as required

 

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in HVAC maintenance and repair
• Proficient in HVAC system installation and troubleshooting
• Strong electrical knowledge and ability to read blueprints
• Skilled in preventive maintenance procedures
• Customer service oriented with effective communication skills
• Strong time management and organizational abilities
• Committed to safety compliance and industry standards

 

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• EPA Section 608 certification
