Transport Patient Engagement Specialist
Schedule:

• Monday - 10am-6pm

  Tuesday-Thursday - 3pm-11pm

• Saturday/Sunday - 2pm-9pm

Compensation:

• $16-$18

Responsibilities

• Maintain demonstration of values and mission statement

• Establish communication with patients and coworkers to improve quality of service and patient satisfaction

• Transport patients to the facility to designated areas in an efficient and timely manner

• Follow routing and scheduling instructions given by the Dispatch Manager

• Accompany patients inside the facility upon arrival and deliver communication to the Receptionist and Dispatch Manager regarding the drop off

• Offer comfort and support to patients and their families

• Respect and protect patient confidence and confidentiality by keeping all sensitive and patient information private

• Follow all protocols and procedures to ensure safe delivery of patients and their possessions

• Possess excellent driving capabilities

• Possess the ability to de-escalate situations

• Maintain a secure, clean, and healthy work environment

• Routinely comply with the standards set forth by HIPAA

• Work as a highly dependable, independent member of the treatment team

• Ability to maintain flexibility in work schedule

• Must be a committed team player willing to learn new skill sets

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; or equivalent experience

• 1-year prior experience working with Substance Abuse populations strongly preferred

• Crisis Intervention Training strongly preferred

• Valid, unrestricted driver?s license

• Clean driving record for at least 3 years

• Must be committed to a drug-free lifestyle and responsible alcohol use

• Personal passion or interest in substance abuse issues strongly preferred
