Position Maintenance Mechanic III Date Posted: 2026-01-13 | Location: Medley, FL, USA | Job Type: Onsite | Citizenship: U.S. citizen required | Security Clearance: None What You Will Do Follow blueprints, drawings and general instructions to plan and layout assignments. Assemble, install and repair mechanical and electromechanical equipment and systems such as production machinery/tools, conveyor systems, storage racks and tanks, facility equipment and the like. Use a wide variety of hand, power and machine tools to perform assignments. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment and systems requiring isolation of the malfunction, disassembly of equipment and repair/replacement of bearings, gears, structural components and the like. Perform electrical maintenance on equipment and various types of machinery. Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and mechanical systems. Perform other duties as required. Qualifications High school diploma (or equivalent, e.g., GED) or vocational/technical education in a related discipline. Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in maintenance or a related field. Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills, ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals. Experience working with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Commitment to safety, ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and effective communication skills to collaborate with operations, engineering, and leadership teams.
