Hospice RN On Call Weekends ($5,000 Sign on Bonus)

Job Description Full-time Hospice RN On-Call Friday‑Monday 5:00 pm - 8:00 am Territory: We respond to on‑call needs within an hour Performs physical and psychosocial assessment on all hospice patients. Ability to adequately assess and reassess pain. Utilizes appropriate pain management techniques. Educates the patient and family regarding pain management. Responds to the physical, mental, social and emotional needs of terminally ill patients and their families. Assesses patient’s condition, initiates plan of care, re‑evaluates and updates as necessary. Obtains all necessary physician orders and collaborates with physician as patient’s needs dictate. Initiates case conferences to discuss multidisciplinary team responsibilities, pain management, bereavement counseling, etc. Benefits Competitive salary Mileage reimbursement Excellent PTO program (up to 136 hours in first year) Every Friday is payday! Requirements One year Hospice experience preferred 1 year of RN experience required Licensed Registered Nurse in State of Indiana Current driver’s license Must have reliable transportation and insurance $75,000 - $85,000 a year Salary position + mileage reimbursement + $200 per admission completed on shift.
