Massage Therapist

As a massage therapist, you will have the opportunity to work alongside other healthcare professionals (Chiropractic, MNRI, Personal Trainer) in a dynamic and collaborative environment. At PHW we appreciate the many ways that massage can have an impact on our patient’s overall well-being by helping to regulate stress response, clear lymphatic buildup, pull toxins and lactic acid from muscle tissue, and provide relief from tight or sore muscles. Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine specific needs and tailored massage treatments.
• Provide a wide range of services: deep tissue, Swedish, sports, neuromuscular, hot stone, etc.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide a coordinated approach to patient care.
• Communicate effectively with clients about their treatment plans and any potential side effects or risks.
• Maintain accurate records of patient information, including medical history and treatment plans.
• Keep a clean and organized treatment room, including laundry and equipment maintenance.
• Attend and participate in team meetings and continuing education opportunities.
• Adhere to all state and local regulations and guidelines for massage therapy.

Required Skills and Competencies:

• Maintain impeccable written and verbal communication with teammates and patients
• A valid and current massage therapy license.
• Minimum of two years of experience working as a massage therapist.
• Ability to quickly get up-to-speed on internal software (Cerbo, Bamboo HR, Nextcloud)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
