As a member of the meat team, you won’t just cut meat—you’ll make important decisions about the quality, packaging, and display of our meat items. What You’ll Do Collaborate with other associates to build a strong meat team and adapt to business needs. Demonstrate knowledge of floor, back‑room operations, product safety, sanitation, inventory, and equipment maintenance, and prepare, cut, grind, wrap, and trim meats according to established standards. Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and enhance associate engagement. Maintain operational excellence, manage quality and date control, secure merchandise, reduce waste, assist members with purchasing, and ensure proper packaging, labeling, and storage. Advocate for the department and club, model high‑quality service, and exhibit energy, commitment, and passion. Comply with company policies, procedures, ethics, and integrity through applied action plans. Complete assignments and priorities using policies, data, and resources, collaborating with managers and partners to identify improvement opportunities and adapt to change.
