Electronics Engineer - Power Systems And Control (Psc) Field Engineer

As an Electronics Engineer - Power Systems and Control (PSC) Field Engineer, you will:

1. Work with manufacturers, BPA and other contractor resources for design, test, and integration of new and/or experimental equipment that extends the technology of the industry.
2. Investigate and resolve problems and conditions in electrical PSC systems and equipment impacting costs, efficiency, safety, and performance.
3. Conduct test and energization of new PSC systems and equipment in the District.
4. Participate in planning, organizing, and directing activities of PSC Engineers and Craftsmen working in the District.
5. Represent the District in a variety of technical situations, preparing equipment specifications, maintenance standards and procedures, and other criteria having system wide impact.
6. Participate with District and Regional Management team to identify equipment replacement candidates and recommends enhancements to district facilities to expand or improve service.
7. Review project diagrams, design plans and other coordinating documents for achievement of maintenance requirements and compatibility between new and existing equipment and with site conditions.
