Electronics Engineer - Power Systems And Control (Psc) Field Engineer
As an Electronics Engineer - Power Systems and Control (PSC) Field Engineer, you will:
- Work with manufacturers, BPA and other contractor resources for design, test, and integration of new and/or experimental equipment that extends the technology of the industry.
- Investigate and resolve problems and conditions in electrical PSC systems and equipment impacting costs, efficiency, safety, and performance.
- Conduct test and energization of new PSC systems and equipment in the District.
- Participate in planning, organizing, and directing activities of PSC Engineers and Craftsmen working in the District.
- Represent the District in a variety of technical situations, preparing equipment specifications, maintenance standards and procedures, and other criteria having system wide impact.
- Participate with District and Regional Management team to identify equipment replacement candidates and recommends enhancements to district facilities to expand or improve service.
- Review project diagrams, design plans and other coordinating documents for achievement of maintenance requirements and compatibility between new and existing equipment and with site conditions.
