About The Role

We are looking for a motivated sales professional who thrives on building lasting relationships and turning opportunities into long-term partnerships to join a leading independent concrete & block manufacturing company in the construction industry. In this role, you will contribute to promoting and selling concrete and block, efficiently identifying prospective customers and projects, and establishing new customer accounts and projects in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Sell Ready-Mix Concrete and Concrete Block to customers
• Efficiently identify prospective customers and projects
• Establish new customer accounts and projects in a timely manner
• Develop and maintain business relationships with customers, vendors, and the community
• Meet or exceed sales metrics and forecasted budget
• Address and resolve customer inquiries, requests, and complaints
• Effectively communicate between departments, including customer service, accounting, and operations
• Assist in the collection of revenue, when necessary

Requirements

• High School Diploma, Bachelor's degree preferred
• 5 years as a Concrete Account Executive/Sales Representative within the construction industry
• Excellent Customer Service skills
• Ability to efficiently manage time and work independently and with a team
• Ability to build relationships and relate to others
• Valid Driver's license with a driving record that meets company safety standards

Preferred Qualifications (If Any)

• Concrete industry experience
• Strong negotiation skills
