Ophthalmic Consultants Of Long Island
The OpportunityWe're seeking Ophthalmic Technicians to support our doctors and ensure a smooth patient experience. You'll handle pre-exam work, gather patient info, perform routine tests, and assist with procedures.What You'll DoRecord vision, depth, color, and peripheral testsApply eye drops, collect/process specimensTriage emergencies and manage patient flowPrep rooms and assist doctors during proceduresMaintain equipment and follow infection control protocolsWhat You'll BringStrong verbal & written communicationFriendly, patient-focused attitudeDependable problem solver under pressureFlexible team player with a can-do mindsetKnowledge of ocular pharmacology (a plus, not required)Ability to stand, walk, sit, and occasionally lift up to 10 lbs.
