This role is responsible for delivering exceptional member service by handling a wide range of transactional and advisory functions. This role combines traditional teller duties with member service responsibilities, including processing financial transactions, opening new accounts, resolving member inquiries, and identifying opportunities to recommend appropriate products and services. The Lead Universal Service Representative is essential in assisting the team in building strong member relationships, ensuring accuracy and compliance, and supporting the credit union's commitment to service excellence and operational efficiency. This position will assist in fulfilling the mission of the credit union and will maintain a strong member service chain in order to create and maintain loyalty with both internal/external members and vendors. Our Lead USRs will:* Build member loyalty.* Provide in person and digital solutions for peers and members.* Build and maintain product knowledge, so they may assist members with financial needs.* Focus on compliance and security.**Essential Functions & Responsibilities:*** Provides exceptional service to both internal and external members and demonstrate a strong commitment to the organization's Do More Good culture by fostering a positive work environment and promoting our core values in all interactions.* Provides frontline leadership by supporting and guiding Universal Service Representatives to deliver accurate, efficient, and member-focused service, while personally handling complex transactions and ensuring consistent adherence to policies, procedures, and service standards.* Consistently identifies the needs of members and recommends appropriate credit union solutions in order to meet and exceed production goals and help achieve organizational goals.* Serves as the example and mentor of existing USRs. Oversees the department in the absence of the Asst Branch Manager.* Adheres to credit union policy and procedures to ensure accuracy and attention to detail in all member transactions.* Balances cash drawer and is responsible for maintaining the integrity of inventory.* Owns internal and external member problems, issues, and complaints and ensure the appropriate follow-up to achieve the best resolution.* Maintains flexibility and willingness to provide assistance at other branch locations as needed, including Saturday rotation.**Salary and Benefits:*** Starting salary is $19.19 per hour. eligible for monthly incentives based on performance.* Comprehensive insurance options including Health, Dental, and Vision for full-time employees.* 401K eligibility, including company match program.* Generous paid time off benefits.**UICCU is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
