Job Overview Join our team as a US Foods® Delivery Driver. You will start at $34.97 per hour, increasing to $39.35 per hour after 6 months of employment. Eligible new hires may receive a $12,500 retention bonus. Schedule runs Tuesday through Saturday, 3 am to 6 am dispatch, driven until deliveries are completed. Main Responsibilities Safely drive trucks to customers and meet scheduled delivery times. Unload products from the trailer using a two‑wheeler, pallet jack, or by hand and place them in designated customer locations. Verify delivery accuracy with customers and obtain signatures. Handle collections and payments from customers when applicable. Provide professional customer service to enhance client experience. Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip equipment inspections. Physical Requirements Lift, carry, push, and pull 20 to 80+ lbs repetitively during each shift. Drive and work in inclement weather conditions with frequent stops (10+ per shift). Qualifications Register with the FMCSA Clearinghouse (required by the Department of Transportation). At least 21 years of age. Valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence with the necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications. Minimum of six months commercial driving experience (any industry) or three months in the food and/or beverage delivery industry. Preference for ability to operate a manual transmission; may be required in specific locations. Ability to read, speak, understand, and respond in English, and record information on reports and records.
