The following information outlines the responsibilities and qualifications for the Quality Engineering Manager position. Responsibilities Ensure that all QE deliverables—Quality Objectives, MSA, Control Plans, Part Inspection, Capability Studies, and Customer PPAP—are executed on time and to the required level of detail. Monitor and report production and service incoming quality scores, and implement corrective actions based on score status. Maintain a working knowledge of customer‑specific requirements. Develop key customer relationships within the Supplier Quality area to support successful product launches. Establish and nurture internal relationships to remove roadblocks and resolve issues that may impede launch success. Develop QE resource budgets and staffing needs; participate in the interview process and add resources as required. Participate in the quoting process to ensure appropriate quality resources and objectives are considered before business awards. Actively participate in Program Reviews and Phase Exit Reviews. Prepare monthly assessments of all QE deliverables for programs within the area of responsibility. Mitigate risk by implementing corrective actions for any deliverables with yellow or red status. Apply advanced quality planning concepts, including familiarity with the AIAG Advanced Quality Planning and Control Plan standard, FMEAs, PPAPs, dimensional layouts, gage/fixture design, and performance/material testing. Apply advanced statistical concepts, design‑of‑experiments, and problem‑solving methodology to improve processes. Qualifications Qualified as a BOS Lead Auditor. Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Responsibilities Participate in Health, Safety, and Environmental investigations and the 8‑D process to develop root‑cause analyses for problem resolution. Ensure Safety Audits are completed for the team and report accidents, occupational illnesses, and HSE&E emergencies to supervisors. Ensure compliance with all safety procedures and maintain safe working conditions in assigned production areas. Promote Environmental Management System compliance and resource conservation efforts. Document injury reports, complete necessary statements, and participate in Accident Investigation teams. Conduct safety audits on a weekly and monthly basis; ensure audits are completed on time, and complete safety‑related work orders. Participate in safety communications and training events (plant‑wide meetings, pre‑shift meetings, departmental meetings, and training exercises) on a weekly/monthly schedule. #J-18808-Ljbffr Papa Murphy's
