Responsibilities

• Prepare and dispense medications accurately and efficiently.

• Participate in ongoing training and professional development programs.

• Maintain accurate patient records and medication logs.

• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards.

• Assist in inventory management and stock control of pharmaceuticals.

• Collaborate with team members to achieve departmental goals.

• Educate patients on medication usage and potential side effects.

• Provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare professionals.

• Monitor and report on medication effectiveness and patient outcomes.

• Support the pharmacy in achieving sales and performance targets.

• Assist in the implementation of new pharmacy technologies.

• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives within the pharmacy.

Experience/Qualifications

• Valid pharmacy technician certification and relevant state licensure.

• Commitment to ongoing training and professional development.

• Demonstrated ability to meet performance targets and goals.

• Proven experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting.

• Ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.

• Strong understanding of pharmaceutical regulations and safety standards.

• Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.

• Strong organizational skills for managing inventory and patient records.

• Willingness to engage in continuous improvement initiatives.

• Experience with pharmacy software and technology systems.
