Office Assistant/Receptionist

Qualifications:

1. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
2. Technology skills
3. Demonstrates aptitude or competence for assigned responsibilities
4. High School Diploma
5. Associates Degree (preferred)

Reports to:

Building Principal

Career Goal:

To contribute to effective school and public relations by prompt and courteous handling of all inquiries and visitors.

Performance Responsibilities:

1. Greets all visitors courteously, determines their needs, checks appointments and directs or escorts them to the proper person.
2. Answers office telephone and responds appropriately to requests for information.
3. Reports immediately the presence of any visitor who bypasses the reception desk or any suspicious activity or unusual behavior by the visitor.
4. Performs such other office duties as may be assigned.

Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Board's policy on Evaluation of Support Services Personnel.
