Bilingual School SLP - Travel Therapist (K-12)

Job Description AMN Healthcare Allied is seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist for an exciting travel allied job in Algonquin, IL. Shift: 8 hour days. Start Date: August 3, 2026. Duration: 43 weeks. Pay: $2,060 per week. Position: Bilingual (English/Spanish) School‑Based SLP. You will serve K‑12 students across grade levels, conducting comprehensive evaluations, developing individualized education plans, delivering direct therapy in individual and small‑group formats, monitoring progress, and collaborating with teachers, parents, and interdisciplinary teams. Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations, including bilingual assessments, for students across grade levels.
• Develop individualized education program goals and deliver direct therapy in both individual and small‑group settings.
• Monitor student progress over time and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Participate in IEP meetings, team consultations, and data‑driven decision making.
• Collaborate with general and special education teachers, school psychologists, occupational and physical therapists, administrators, and families to support student success.
• Provide pull‑out and push‑in services throughout the school district, document sessions and progress in the district’s electronic systems, and consult with teachers on classroom communication strategies.
• Design and implement interventions at classroom or small‑group level and support Response to Intervention or Multi‑Tiered Systems of Support frameworks where applicable.

Required Qualifications

• Speech/Language Pathologist, School – Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology (SLP) or related field.
• State SLP license in the state of residence.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech‑Language‑Hearing Association (ASHA).
• Proficiency in both English and Spanish.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a school setting, early childhood, or pediatrics.
• Strong knowledge of speech and language development, assessment tools, and therapeutic techniques.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators, parents, and community members.
• Ability to maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with federal and state regulations.
