Production Operator

Job Title: Production Operator

Location: Phoenix, AZ

Type: Contract

Compensation: $24.00 per hour

Work Model: Onsite

Hours: 40 hours per week, schedule 5 am - 3:30 pm (occasionally later if production is still running)

Responsibilities

• Oversee operation of processing equipment and processes

• Make routine tests; observe, chart, and determine process completion

• Work safely with batch processing equipment to produce high-quality coatings products

• Maintain accurate production records

• Handle materials and print labels

• Label buckets and operate forklift and palletizer

Requirements

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required

• 0-2 years related manufacturing experience

• Communication skills - proficient in written, verbal, and listening skills

• Demonstrated willingness to be actively involved in day-to-day plant activities

• Familiarity with safety activities, safe behavior observations, and team activities

Preferred qualifications:

• Production operations/manufacturing experience

• Paint/coating batch processing experience

Physical Demands:

• Frequently stationary and moving/traversing

• Occasionally seated and balancing

• Frequently transport, lift, carry, push, and pull

• Continuously reaching, handling, grasping, feeling

• Frequently communicate verbally and listen; perform repetitive motions and climb regularly

Working Conditions:

• Occasionally exposed to extreme cold and atmospheric conditions

• Frequently exposed to extreme heat, humid, wet, noise, hazards, temperature changes, vibration

• Occasionally exposed to indoor atmospheric conditions
