Job Description:

We are looking for a talented Program Manager, who will work closely with the AI Portfolio Leader to lead the Weatherford AI COE portfolio. This role coordinates the execution and operational management of Weatherford's AI portfolio initiatives from project kickoff through delivery, testing, closure, business handoff, post-deployment support, and value tracking.

Working across multiple concurrent initiatives, the AI Program Manager establishes delivery discipline, maintains visibility into risks and dependencies, coordinates the right business and technical stakeholders, and ensures that approved AI initiatives progress through a consistent 90-day delivery cycle. The role also supports ongoing portfolio reporting and value realization by maintaining the AI value tracker and preparing monthly and quarterly reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

1. AI Portfolio & Governance Coordination Support

• Assist the AI Portfolio Leader with overall program governance
• Shepherd approved AI use cases through the AI approval and governance process.
• Coordinate stakeholder engagement across business sponsors, product owners, and AI leadership.
• Track AI opportunities from approval through project initiation.
• Maintain visibility of portfolio status, dependencies, decisions, and escalations.
• Support executive reporting and portfolio governance activities.

1. Project Delivery & Execution Management Support

• Lead project kickoff and mobilization activities for approved AI initiatives.
• Coordinate delivery across business teams, AI engineers, UI/UX resources, and project stakeholders.
• Manage project plans, milestones, risks, dependencies, and action items.
• Facilitate project status reviews and escalation management.
• Ensure successful project closure and transition into business operations.

1. Testing, Deployment & Business Handover Support

• Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and business validation activitie s .
• Ensure testing feedback, issues, and corrective actions are tracked and resolved.
• Facilitate deployment readiness and go-live coordination.
• Manage project closeout, lessons learned, and operational handoffs.
• Ensure deployed solutions are smoothly transitioned into Business-as-Usual (BAU) ownership.

1. AI Operations & Enhancement Management Support

• Own and maintain the centralized backlog of AI enhancements, bug fixes, and support requests.
• Coordinate prioritization activities with the AI/ML Ops team.
• Track resolution of production issues and enhancement requests.
• Monitor operational performance of deployed AI solutions.
• Ensure continuous improvement opportunities are identified and managed across the AI portfolio

1. Value Realization & Portfolio Reporting Support

• Assist the AI Portfolio Leader with end-to-end value realization process
• Maintain the enterprise AI Value Tracker.
• Coordinate collection of business benefits, adoption metrics, and realized value.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and executive-level reporting.
• Monitor portfolio performance against expected outcomes and success criteria.
• Support leadership in demonstrating measurable business value from AI investments.

Qualifications:

• 2-3 years of experience managing technology, digital, analytics, automation, or AI-enabled programs
• Experience coordinating multiple concurrent projects
• Strong understanding of project governance, delivery planning, risk management, testing, closure, and operational handoff
• Experience working with business sponsors, product owners, engineers, designers, and operational support teams
• Experience with LT reporting, program-level value, benefit, and performance trackers

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with process mapping, workshop facilitation
• Project Management certification
• Exposure to AI, machine learning, generative AI, or digital product delivery
• Experience with delivery increments, agile delivery, or similar phased execution models
• Experience coordinating AI/ML Ops, application support, or post-deployment enhancement backlogs
• Experience supporting business-case validation and benefits realization
• Experience working in a complex, global, matrixed organization
