Our client is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee day-to-day accounting operations and support continued growth of the organization. This role offers a clear path to advancement into a future Controller position.

Responsibilities:

• Manage AP, AR, payroll, and general ledger activities
• Lead month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Monitor cash flow and maintain accurate financial records
• Support process improvements and accounting system enhancements
• Partner with leadership on financial analysis and operational initiatives

Requirements:

• 5+ years of accounting experience
• Background in a law firm, CPA firm, consulting firm, or other professional services organization
• Experience with AP, AR, payroll, month-end close, and financial reporting
• Proficiency in Excel and QuickBooks
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Clio
• Understanding of trust accounting , settlement disbursements, and Advanced Client Costs (ACC)
• Experience with payment process improvements and electronic payment implementations
