Description:
The position involves working in a pre-operative setting.
You will be responsible for the care of patients prior to surgery.
The unit has 9 pre-operative beds and 5 recovery beds.
You will work with a team of 8 full-time RNs, with some positions currently open.
You will assist with the recovery of patients undergoing various procedures.
Patient ratios are 1:3 during shifts.
You should be familiar with typical equipment used in a pre-operative environment.
Experience with electronic medical records is preferred.
You should be skilled in patient communication and collaboration with staff and providers.
On-call duties will be required with a 30-minute response time.
