Job Summary:
Operating Room (First Assistant) RN position located in Northampton, Massachusetts. This role involves assisting surgeons in operative procedures under the direction of the Nurse Manager, following established organizational and departmental policies and procedures. Candidates must bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Location: Northampton, Massachusetts
• Schedule: 4x10-hour shifts per week. Call responsibilities include on-call for two days a week from 5 p.m. (or from the end of their shift) to 7 p.m., and one weekend (Saturday and Sunday) every three weekends. Weekend call duration is 24 hours per day.
• Required Qualifications: Graduate of an approved School of Nursing; current RN licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts; ACLS certification; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross; completion of an RN First Assisting course that conforms to the Core Curriculum set forth by the Association of perioperative Registered Nurses; five (5) years diversified peri-operative nursing experience with proficiency in both scrubbing and circulating roles; schedule availability for 40 hours per week starting 06/28/2026.

• Float: Float rotation may be required.
