Job Description
MRI Technologist - Trauma Specialty

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

PM shift from 1:00 PM to 11:30 PM, working four 10-hour shifts from Tuesday to Friday. Backup call is required on weekends every 4-5 weekends, with holiday availability also expected.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist with expertise in trauma imaging. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in the field and hold the necessary certifications. This role requires the ability to perform high-quality imaging, manage patient care, and ensure the safety protocols are strictly adhered to during imaging procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI scans on patients, ensuring accurate imaging quality.
• Adhere to all safety and operational protocols within the imaging department.
• Monitor patient comfort and safety throughout the imaging process.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure high standards of patient care.
• Maintain equipment functionality and report any maintenance needs.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist.
• Current ARRT MR or ARMRIT certification required.
• Professional state license not required.
• Specific experience in trauma imaging is essential.
