Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a diverse range of ultrasound exams including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Ensure that patient comfort and safety are paramount during scans, communicating each step of the procedure with understanding
• Engage closely with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure the delivery of exceptional diagnostic images
• Manage and maintain ultrasound equipment, quickly reporting any technical issues
• Diligently document all procedures and maintain accurate patient records within our electronic medical system
• Keep informed of the latest developments in ultrasound imaging techniques and standards

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
