Senior Client Advocate - Construction

The Senior Client Advocate provides strategic relationship management and placement, drawing on our specialized construction industry experience to craft risk strategies for clients. The Role The Senior Client Advocate will deliver strategic relationship management, placement of Builders Risk, property, and casualty lines, and consultative services. They will marshal Willis Towers Watson resources to meet client needs, ensure regulatory compliance, design coverage solutions, and expand business opportunities. Responsibilities Retain existing book of business; develop and strengthen client relationships. Identify, engage, and integrate delivery of all WTW internal resources. Provide strategic planning and consulting advice; monitor insurance and risk management needs. Recommend appropriate solutions throughout the policy life cycle. Design, prepare, negotiate, and deliver fee/compensation agreements to clients. Design and deliver full client presentations, proposals, advocacy reports, service plans, and schedules. Increase profitability of client accounts and ensure retention over time. Engage with Sales and Broking to understand marketplace changes. Create project risk profiles; prepare marketing materials for underwriting and placement of casualty coverages (primary and excess). Facilitate binding of broadest available coverage aligned with the risk profile. Build and develop market relationships with broking and sales; design prospect sales strategies and develop growth pipelines. Conduct contract reviews to ensure alignment of obligations. Provide strategic design and lead resources to manage large property and Master Builders Risk programs and complex project coverage. Drive the RFP response process, including review, coordination, and document ownership. Drive the renewal process, establishing and implementing client-specific renewal strategies. Qualifications 10+ years of commercial Property & Casualty insurance experience in a client‑facing role, with industry knowledge in construction and real estate. 8-10 years of broking experience in Property, Casualty and Builders Risk. Knowledge of commercial insurance renewal end‑to‑end process. Experience managing and overseeing large MBR programs and complex property schedules. Ability to analyze coverage forms, identify gaps, and consult on program design. Leverage internal and external relationships to deliver tailored client solutions. Interpret, analyze, and present models. Negotiation skills to develop complex deals and drive consensus. Knowledge of strategy, tactics, and solutions for the client or market. Excellent verbal and written communication; group presentation skills. Advocate for change, lead projects, and provide clear guidance. Excellent project management skills for large, complex projects. Competency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Insurance P&C license required. Travel required. Compensation and Benefits Compensation The base salary range for this role is $250,000.00-$280,000.00 USD annually. This role also qualifies for an annual short‑term incentive bonus.
