CLASS A AUTOMOTIVE TECHNICIAN
A+ Auto Centers — Fort Worth, TX
A+ Auto Centers is looking for an experienced Class A Automotive Technician to join our growing team!
We are looking for a highly skilled, dependable technician who can diagnose and repair vehicles accurately and efficiently with minimal supervision. This is an excellent opportunity for a technician who takes pride in quality work and wants to be part of a professional, busy automotive repair shop.
POSITION: Class A Automotive Technician
Job Type: Full-Time
Location: Fort Worth, TX
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Pay: Competitive pay based on experience and skill level
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform advanced diagnostics and repairs on domestic and Asian vehicles
- Diagnose electrical, drivability, and mechanical problems
- Perform engine, transmission, suspension, steering, brake, and A/C repairs
- Perform timing belt and timing chain repairs
- Diagnose check-engine lights and other warning lights
- Use scan tools and diagnostic equipment effectively
- Perform electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting
- Complete repairs correctly and efficiently
- Inspect vehicles and identify additional needed repairs
- Follow manufacturer repair procedures and specifications
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Communicate effectively with service advisors regarding vehicle concerns and repairs
- Perform quality-control checks on completed repairs
- Properly document work performed
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of professional automotive repair experience preferred
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to diagnose problems rather than simply replace parts
- Experience with advanced scan tools and diagnostic equipment
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Must have your own professional hand tools
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation
- Strong work ethic and good attendance
- Must take pride in quality workmanship
- ASE certifications are a plus
