Plant Care Specialist

Plant Care Specialist Join Ambius, part of Rentokil family, to bring life to spaces while protecting people, enhancing lives and preserving the planet through plant care services across the country. Primary responsibilities include visiting customer sites each day to perform plant care tasks such as grooming, rotating, watering, pruning, trimming, removing debris from planters, gauging soil moisture with a soil probe, fertilizing as needed, and maintaining plant and container cleanliness. You will also assist with plant installations, holiday decorations, scenting, and air purification equipment. You should have strong communication, problem‑solving skills, be able to drive a service van, climb ladders, and handle tools safely. Responsibilities Exercise trained techniques to apply and maintain appropriate amounts of water per lighting conditions and plant requirements Keep plants and display containers clean and free of dust and debris Keep plants free from diseases and insects Maintain appearance of top dressing and other ornamental elements Recognize and communicate additional Ambius product needs to grow the business Assist on a variety of plantscape installations including interior or exterior container gardens, wall‑mounted systems, commercial plantscapes, and more Assist on holiday decoration installations decorating the interior and exterior of buildings with a team as well as removal of holiday decorations at season end Maintain scenting and air purification equipment as necessary Qualifications Experience caring for plants is preferred High school diploma or GED, or related training/experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience Valid driver's license from state of residence Availability Monday‑Friday and Saturdays as neededSolid reading, writing, and verbal communication skills Basic math skills – ability to follow instructions for mixing on product labels Licenses/certificates required by federal, state, or local regulations (provided by employer) Customer‑facing experience preferred Compensation $19–23 per hour (Base pay range $18.00–$26.00, subject to geographic location, skills, education, experience, overtime, incentives, commissions, and route assignment).
