Core Responsibilities

• Assemble and install office furniture — desks, chairs, cabinets, panels, and components
• Load and unload trucks carefully, using blankets and padding and securing furniture so nothing gets damaged
• Hang window coverings, artwork, and specialty items
• Take furniture apart, load it on pallets and trucks, and set it back up at the new location
• Check your work — make sure everything is sturdy, defect-free, and installed to spec
• Prep the office before the install and leave the job site clean when you're done
• Keep your Lead Installer, manager, and team in the loop on progress or problems
• Be professional and respectful with customers
• Drive a box truck when needed
• Other duties as assigned

What you bring

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• A solid work ethic and great attitude
• Teamwork — you pull your weight and help the crew
• Flexibility, including willingness to travel and help other markets when needed
• Attention to detail — the job isn't done until it's done right
• Furniture assembly or installation experience is a plus, but we train the right people
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Able to lift and move up to 50+ lbs. on a regular basis
• Able to work under desktops, and bend, stoop, reach, push, and pull throughout the day
