Join Our Dynamic ICU Team! Job Description:
- Shift Details:
- 12-hour days and nights
- 2 weekends per 4 weeks
- Holidays as needed
- Urgent Start Dates:
- 10/26, 11/9, 11/30, 12/14
- Unit Highlights:
- 20 bed ICU with a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio
- Charge Nurse on every shift for support, not taking patients
- EMR system: Cerner
- Strong IV skills required
- RT and Pharmacy available 24/7
- Floating Requirements:
- Floating to MS tele and tele floors
- Be ready to manage a full patient load
- Patient Types:
- Sepsis, DKA, hyperglycemia, COPD, CVA
- Post-operative recovery patients
- Minimum Certifications Required:
- BLS, ACLS
- NIHSS certification preferred
- Orientation:
- 2 shifts in ICU, 1 unit out on the floor
- Location Perks:
- Central to stunning national parks, just 1-2 hours from Yosemite
- Nearby lakes for outdoor sports and trails
