CT Technologist - Nights

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to perform computerized tomography examinations for patients of all ages. The technologist will operate CT equipment, follow imaging protocols, maintain radiation safety, and provide high-quality patient care in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT examinations according to established protocols.
• Operate CT equipment and imaging systems safely and effectively.
• Prepare and position patients for CT procedures.
• Explain procedures and provide compassionate patient care.
• Obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
• Perform imaging in the Radiology and Emergency Departments as needed.
• Follow radiation safety and ALARA practices.
• Assist radiologists and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate patient and imaging documentation.
• Follow infection control, quality, and department safety standards.

Requirements

• Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program .
• ARRT certification/license required .
• CT certification or eligibility required .
• Registered or registry-eligible Radiologic Technologist.
• Kansas Radiologic Technology license required.
• BLS/CPR certification required or must be obtained within 90 days of employment.
• Strong communication, technical, and patient-care skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 1 year of hospital radiology experience preferred.
• Previous CT experience strongly preferred.
• Experience working in an acute-care or trauma hospital is a plus.
• Experience with patients across all age groups.
